' A WARNING TO CARDIFF CITY FANS '

I was contacted today by the Authorities and asked to put this out.

So far this season Cardiff City fans have had at least 6 cars broken in to whilst watching City in the Cardiff City Stadium.

From a laptop, hand bags, sat nav and even a phone has been stolen from cars.
First of all, all these items were left on the car seats, so were visable to the thieves.
Secondly they were cars that were left in side streets, near the Cardiff City Stadium.
Thirdly one car even left the door unlocked

The Good news is,No cars have been broken in to on the Cardiff City Stadium car parks.
Not saying you have to park in there, what the authorities are saying are that,do not leave valuables for the thieves to see, especially if your parked in areas where there is no cctv.

The Police are going to up their patrols, but on most match days now, thanks to no trouble, there are no more than six police on duty.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

From Facebook

Dave Newman

My car has been safe every home game this season while parking inside the stadium.
Nice traffic officers and good camera checks on vehicles during the game. My suggestion for those that park outside the stadium if you want to leave without any traffic on the way out after the game leave before everyone else does or after everyone else does people can always have a nice relax in the Eddie may bar and watch the results as they come in from all the other stadiums and chance to unwind after the bluebirds match this gives most other people a opportunity to leave so that when you come from the Eddie may bar the car park is near enough empty.
This is what I do and it's really enjoyable

Even though you would like to live in a world where nothing like that happens but it does and sadly it does come down to the responsibility of the owner of the cars to make sure valuables are locked away properly ans safe, own fault really that's the reality.

Unfortunately this was my car. I was parked in Whittle road which is just off Hadfield road. I had 3 wheels stolen and the 4th was badly damaged as they failed to get it off. The sill was also buckled where they had not pushed their jack under far enough. Total cost of wheels ,tyres and repair £2,200.
