Thats more than i remember , thought it was a poor turnout at the time.

I walked from bob bank behind the grange end after that game. Remembered a dart coming over. Then stones going in both directions.

For Leeds that was,as usually they would of filled the whole away end.
If I remember right ,it was a night game,they were struggling in the old second division.
There was quite a lot of trouble on Sloper road after the game.

It was a February Saturday game. Leeds won 1-0 I think

Definitely played them in the night once, they had a few in the Canton End Enclosure who didn't last long in there. I also remember thinking their support was poor, could be memory playing tricks on me though!

Was in Block A that game - first time I'd seen fans wearing Burberry suits, which seemed a little dandy at the time.

I was at the 1972 fa cup game at Ninian we(leeds)won and went on to win the cup as a young 13 yr old I remember seeing leeds fans everywhere in all 4 stands the bob bank was full of leeds fans huge crowd..

I was there for the 1-0 defeat kicked off in grandstand after match.

They were everywhere, can't remember any on The Grange though, as you know the Bob Bank was the away end back then. Any honest Leeds fan will tell you they got battered that day, that's why Cardiff had such a rough time up there a few years later. Great loyal fans, fair play.

as a young 13 yr old down there on a day out from merthyr fighting was not on the menu I was there decked out with 2 huge leeds rosettesbig white ones they were I had my leeds scarf on as well as my parka I was even on the match of the day show on bbc filmed waving my scarf with pride I was a very happy kid going home on the train with my dad.could you do that today ?I think not..I wonder if there any pics from that day in 72?

Actually, YES I think a 13 year old could do that today, up until 10 years ago, maybe not.
