Development Squad Targets First PL Cup Win against Cardiff City DVP.

Burnley DVP V Cardiff City DVP 12pm today.
The Clarets’ Development Squad will be looking for their first group win in the Premier League Cup when they take on Cardiff City at Turf Moor today (kick-off 12noon).
Burnley’s under-23 side play their first home game in the group stages of the competition after losing at Blackburn Rovers in their opening fixture at the end of September.
Sunderland currently top Group B with four points from two games, having beaten Blackburn and drawn with Cardiff - who have one point from their solitary game.
The top two sides in the group, after the four teams have played each other home and away, will progress to the last 16 and the knock-out stages of the competition.
Teams are permitted to play up to four over-age players, including a goalkeeper, which would allowed Burnley boss Sean Dyche to employ some of his senior players if he chooses in the side led by Senior Professional Development Phase Coach Michael Jolley (above).
Supporters are reminded that the game kicks-off at 12noon.
Admission is free to season-ticket holders, £4 to adults and £2 to concessions. Tickets must be purchased from the ticket office with no payment at the turnstiles.
