We will really miss him when he's gone.

We should name a stand after Peter Whittingham.

Can't for the life of me understand why people think he is past it. We will miss him when he finally does leave City.

Jack, I was never a Whittingham fan,but not a critic either,I always thought he had the qualities but was to laid back.

Some managers get more out of him than others,Whittingham has over the years proved so many of us wrong

Yeah he was hot and cold first few seasons and then he really hit form!

Remember us signing him and I thought why sign that lazy... well let's just say he went on to prove me wrong and become a cardiff city legend!

I think one of the signs of being a great player is the number of managers who pick you.

Often when we've had new managers you wonder whether he will fit into their style, etc., and invariably they soon realise how important he is. Warnock is going through that at the moment and got a resounding answer on Saturday. Warnock got a fantastic season out of Tarrabt at QPR and he could well do the same with Whitts particularly with Gunnarsson now playing as the deepest midfielder giving Whitts a chance to get on the edge of the opposition box rather than our own.

At some point Whitts will have to take a back seat but that won't be until we've either unearthed a new talent or paid a lot of money for a different type of player. When that happens I doubt we'll see the like of his spectacular goals for a long time

Said it many times before and will say it again,

"We will never see his like at the club again"

Lets face it Warnock has given him a lifeline. Whitts was done, playing as a sweeper, playing lateral passes not going forward.

The arrival of Warnock has made Whitts a midfielder again. He goes forwards, not sideways, doesn't sit on back 4 and actually looks like he gives a monkeys again. Im certainly a doubter of Whitts but lets hope Warnock gets his last bit of energy in a positive way

He's taken stick from our fans for years now, despite being the best footballer (or thereabouts) at the club. I put it down to his body language - blasé, not animated. When things start going awry people target him for not getting stuck in. Fact remains he's our best weapon at unlocking defences via passing or set piece.

I watched the YouTube clip above. It then linked to all of Whit's goals, over 7 minutes of them. Absolutely sublime.
The next link was then Bellamy's goals. I had not realised how many of Bellamy's goal were set-up by Whitts. Yes we will certainly miss him when he has gone, but hopefully he has a few more good seasons in him yet.
His natural talent is a joy to watch and he is certainly one of my all time city favorites.
