How can Neil Warnock solve home troubles?

Warnock faces winnable home fixtures against Huddersfiled, Brighton, Wolves and Barnsley all before Christmas, meaning he needs to find a temporary solution to the attacking woes at home with the players at his disposal.

Immers has struggled to nail down a first team spot so far this season
Whether he can reinvigorate Lex Immers — Cardiff's only true number 10 — and adapt 4-5-1 into a 4-2-3-1 with the Dutchman in the pocket, remains to be seen. Otherwise, 4-4-2 and Pilkington partnering Lambert would surely offer a greater attacking threat.

Another issue at home has been Cardiff's habit of ceding possession and territory. It worked against Bristol City when the Bluebirds pounced on the counter but when Wigan came and sat deep as well, a stalemate ensued.

Cardiff have rarely controlled a home fixture this season. But with nine points on offer at home between now and Christmas, Warnock will need to finally find some comfort and joy within the confines of Cardiff City Stadium.

If there are four home games between now and Christmas that's 12 points available, not 9.

Unless the write of that article has already written off the Brighton game!
