Didn't see any trouble that day but I was a clueless 16 year old, didn't see any jacks either....

Well at least we turned out against superior numbers Annis! Where were you lot when we turned up at the old Arms Park to play Wrexham a few years after? None of you were there? Nowhere to be seen! :laughing6:

I don't remember any trouble at that Wrexham game at the Vetch. There were loads of us! I'd driven down from Whitchurch after work, and parked in a multi storey in the city centre. Walked to and from the ground by myself. Passed a couple of Swansea fans, who looked at my CCFC lapel badge, but they didn't say or do anything. Afterwards, there were loads of us in cars driving up Fabian Way, in a sort of unorganised motorcade. It was a brilliant end to a brilliant season. Second only to 75/76! :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Don't worry goats, you're not alone in your thoughts or memories. Maybe a few scuffles here and there but that's about it. Annis loves to live in some sort of fantasy world whereby he can turn a simple nothing photo into something it really wasn't! :laughing6:

Paul, prob the words were wrong about saying it went off badly, the truth is there were scuffles just by there, but the rest of the night,Cardiff took the piss everywhere and if you are old enough or were there, you will admit in those days and that particular day,Cardiff took over the Swanseaas usual.

I know it was not your match but it was in Swansea and in those days even if we played you down there,we really took the mick.

The only jacks I saw that evening were the few hundred in the north bank

Actually 64 jack I went to that game you are on about at the arms park with about 100 other Cardiff lads who had been out since early in the am. You all arrived on a train with an escort and went straight to the ground. At the end of the game me and about 8 other young ccfc fans wandered off only to be met by about 25 of your lot. They were older in there 30's and were just bullying us young lads really, low and behold the other 70 or so ccfc came out to save us. Never seen a group of grown men go so quiet   luckily the police were aware and they saved your lot from a good kicking. I remember them getting a bit brave as the police gathered to protect them, we all laughed at them as they wandered off tales between legs. Your main faces I heard after.... :geek: was it you 64???

Oh yes, you certainly turned up that night i'll give you that fair play. Annis, i have never denied in previous conversations that at times there were mobs of Cardiff in Swansea completely unopposed simply because you had the numbers to do so. We couldn't be everywhere at once. But you don't half exaggerate with statements like "We used to take over the place by 10am"! That's simply not true. In fact only once i remember any of you turning up before the pubs opened and that was when the Neath and Port Talbot boys got smashed on the Guildhall grass and i phoned an ambulance for Fullman as his mates had already ran and left him on his own.

Paul, Honestly from the age of 15 years old I remember arriving in Swansea as early as 10am and Cardiff fans would be arriving in their hundreds.
I do remember at the age of 16,about 10 of us left the older Cardiff lads by the Quadrant and went got chased by the Jacks for about 10 mins

I use to hang around with Neath/Port Talbot lads and on Monday nights we would go to Martha's in Swansea and take it over, hang around the streets and the Jacks would not come near us.

Sendintank is Cardiff, that night was the biggest hiding the Jacks ever had off Cardiff, yet rarely mentioned anywhere. As for the Wrexham final, a good 20 on 20 by the Prison, but apart from that, pretty much a walkover!
