Stand up Peter whitingham
3 in 5 now wow

First was a penalty won by noone
Second was from a free kick ,how many free kicks did it take , I can't remember when he scored from a free kick before this one
Third was from a shot outside the box in open play ,can't remember the last time he shot from outside the box ,least of all score from open play
But I'm sure his followers will let us know what a legend he is

He is a club legend, and has been an outstanding player over a long period of time for us. Anyone who thinks this is not the case obviously knows very little about football. Perhaps you should have been the manager for the last 10 years as you appear to know more about football than the managers (including our current one) who constantly select him. I am sure Tan could have saved himself a lot of money appointing a genius like you rather than wasting money on Warnock.

Well done you can count - 3 in 5. That's a great return from a midfielder, some could even credit those goals toward getting us of the religation zone. Although that would make far too much sense for the village idiot.

You can't spell Messiah and you can't see talent.

Whits still doing the business as he has done since joining us. A legend in my opinion.

Are you just bitter because the post you made yesterday back fired?

You pick the better midfield players here st the moment then Troobloo.
You clearly don't know quality when u see it. Yes his legs have gone and no he's not the greatest tackler but would we be better with Ralls, Gunnar and O'Keefe - I think not

As do most things he says.
Comedy gold from the forum fool who can't even spell the word!
His negativity and obsession in slagging off a City player says a lot.

Somebody give the forum fools Nurse a call he's forgotten his medication again today.

Never have I seen a football "fan" so upset at one of his own players scoring goals. Pathetic.

Troobloo - There is a fine line between a tongue in cheek comment and making yourself look a dick. Knowing when to cut your losses and not comment is part of that.

We are a championship club. During his stay at the club Whitts has been included in the championship team of the season more than any other player at the club. I guess and that's all it would be,he is the most nominated championship player over the last 10 years.

If Whitts had strength or pace i guess he would never had to drop to the championship. But, we have a group of fans who want to concentrate on the stuff he can't do rather than the stuff he is simply on another level to any of our players apart from the brief spell in the premier league.

Football is evolving as we sit here. Liverpool are playing with 7 attack minded players. Plugging the midfield with stoppers is that of yesteryear.

Why doesn't anyone on here slag of Gunnerson or O'Keefe for not being able to tackle, harry or pass like Gary Medel ? Because we can see they give their all and they are championship players in the championship.
When Whitts steps up for a last minute free kick or penalty he is showing more courage or bottle than the afore mentioned but in a different way.

Stoppers may stop us from being relegated, players will get us up the table.
