' WARNOCK'S FIRST FIVE - SATISFIED OR NOT ? '
http://www.annisabraham.co.uk/2016/11/0 ... ed-or-not/
Neil Warnock complete his fifth match as Cardiff City manager since taking over a few weeks ago.
Warnock has won 2, drawn 1 and lost 2.
CITY 2-1 Bristol City
CITY 1-1 Sheffield Weds
Nottingham Forest 1-2 CITY
CITY 0-1 Wigan
Newcastle 2-1 CITY
The first three games everyone was on cloud 9 and rightly so but we were brought back down to earth with a home defeat to struggling Wigan and yesterday we played and lost to the best squad in the league.
Overall I am satisfied with the results in the main but it has been the improvement in the performances and in particular the desire and attitude of the players when they are out on the pitch wearing the City shirt.

I think we are going in the right direction ,we are lacking up front need someone to play off lambert

Personally, I'm very satisfied so far. I don't think any other manager could have done any better really.
Unlike some on here I was very realistic when both Lambert and then Warnock arrived.
I knew the former wasn't the 'messiah' that was going to score 15-20 goals like a lot of posters did and I knew that the manager wasn't going to get us to the play offs despite certain posters banging on that we were only 6 points off them!
Warnock knows we need a striker or two and if we can pick up points on a fairly regular basis until the transfer window opens then I'll be fairly happy.

I'm satisfied Carl, I really think we're a lot more organised and will soon climb the table, like you said in another thread most of us were expecting the worst but hoping for the best yesterday and were unlucky at the end not to get a point.
I'm looking forward to Huddersfield in a couple of weeks, really fancy us to go on a bit of a run and be out of trouble by Christmas.

Wigan home No, but we will learn from that one,but over all very satisfied, as I feel positive about Cardiff nowadays since Warnock arrive I honestly feel on the pitch we are finally going forward and we will get ourselves up to the middle of the Championship by January

Definitely satisfied. Performances have improved a lot and they look organised. If you think back to Derby shambles the team has moved on a lot.
If city hadn't made the change God knows where we would be now.
January will be very interesting, and could see a lot of changes, with many playing for city future over next couple of games. This group has underachieved for past three seasons so can have no complaints if moved on.

Have to be satisfied. Some good results in the first tree games and an improvement in style but we knew the next two would be tough (including a defensively astute Wigan side who only ever lose by the odd goal)
After the two previous men at the helm, Neil Warnock is like a breath of fresh air and anyone who is beginning to question him and (for a change) the club hierarchy's decision to bring him in is either very forgetful or simply don't understand football!

Yes, and hopefully we'll be in a position at the end of the season for Warnock to stay and build.

Apart from the obvious. It's been a decent start so yes I'm satisfied. But like many others given better striker options we would improve more and possibly wouldn't of lost the Wigan game based on number of chances

More than satisfied, some real tough fixtures. Ok ideally we beat Wigan but however the points achieved most would have taken 7 points. The side will get better, they will be fit come Huddersfield. Was told the fitness levels yesterday look much improved, a January window will make a huge difference, we haven't a bad squad at all now just desperate for what everybody knows. A few strikers. I think we will end up mid table, which will be huge progress.
Next year will be a promotion challenge, but let's see how things pan this year

Yes definitely satisfied with his first 5 matches! We are out of the relegation zone! Was gutted about the Wigan result but in my opinion that game many players had an off game and the ref didn't help however he wasn't to blame for our loss! I think if we can get 1 win or 2 draws from our next 2 games....things will suddenly seem better again! Obviously 2 wins from our next 2 would be better but we have to remember where we were before Warnock arrived! To expect promotion this season would be asking for it all in my opinion. Yes it would be incredible but I'm not expecting that at all....I just expect us to survive and get up the table abit!

Very satisfied. He's doing the best he can with not a great deal to work with. I'm confident hell bring in new blood in January and I think we will see big improvements early next year.

Put it this way, before he came, we were in the relegation zone, since he's come, despite playing three teams in the top six - including the table toppers and not having set a foot in the transfer market yet, we've climbed our way out of the relegation zone. I'm satisfied so far
Sun Nov 06, 2016 1:48 pm
Compared to where we were and our style of play before he got here, 100% satisfied. Things are on the up.

Too early for me to pass judgement but at least Warnock has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly side of his personnel. He(Warnock) will definitely not be satisfied and thats good enough for me.

Yes he will easily get us out of this mess and that's what he came here to do wasn't it?

This season yes, and I'm sure he will. I'm also confident that with a bit of backing in January and the summer he will have us challenging for the play offs next season.

What's that saying about counting your chickens before they hatch? Bit early to be crowing season doesn't end until May

What I expected, besides the Wigan result. That was a key game, and a big disappointment.

Not crowing. Read it, it states I'm very satisfied.
The point is I'm realistic about the season and hoping we'll finish around mid table.

If he takes us to Mid Table i will be more than happy and yes I think he will, so yes i am satisfied

Satisfied, hard games there when we had no confidence in the team.
