It's obvious it's a tactical change, whitts has strengths and weaknesses and Richardson has been brought in because he will bring pace to the midfield in a game that we will most likely be chasing the ball.

What world are you living in Steve?
..."at last a manager that in a battle can see whitts is as much use as a chocolate tea pot" - well if that doesn't translate into "Warnock thinks whitts is shit" then I'm really lost. What point exactly were you trying to make by that comment?

And Whitts has scored 3/5 under Warnock. He rates Whitts and Steve cannot see that. Warnock went with a defensive set up today and looked what happened first half.
Like it or not Steve, Whitts is very important to us. I'm with Nubs here.

He's not the only one on here who does'nt appear to know much about football. We had certain posters going for a City win today when the drunks in my local pub who hardly follow football had this as a home banker. You often see some unbelievable predictions on here, and you would think that members of a football forum would have some knowledge of the game.

What you mean usual suspects? I pretty much said that he's dropped because we're setting up defensively. The fact he describes Whitts as much use as a chocolate tea pot is sensible is it? If you think that then it's you that needs to look at your level of intelligence because like it or not, Whitts is and always has been a very, very good player and remains a very important player for us.
6 different managers seem to agree with what I say as he keeps getting picked for Cardiff despite you and troobloo constantly knocking him.

Norms, I agree. And I didn't have any problem with whitts starting on the bench today either. I thought it was a smart tactical move for multiple reasons. If Tonteg pulls his head out of his arse for 30 seconds and reads my post he'll see specifically what I didn't agree with in the OP.

You clearly think you're one of the usual suspects to respond. You're one of the worst on here for criticising others opinions. You seem to love having a pop of me for some reason. Whether that's because I tried to sensibly debate with you in the past and was proven correct, I don't know, but you do seem one of several who seem to 'gang up' with the usual culprits (the ones who always seem to be online at the same time to slate someone, perhaps multiple users).
You clearly haven't read the OP properly as you've misinterpreted what he actually said. The OP has clearly said Whitts would be as much use as a chocolate teapot AT NEWCASTLE. I fully agree with this point as Whitts' qualities aren't covering ground and winning the ball back. Whitts' strengths are getting on the ball and creating chances when we are the dominant team against an inferior team.
Today was always going to be a game where we would have to defend and stop Newcastle by fielding a quicker, more mobile team to try to stop Newcastle cutting through us with their superior passing, movement and quality. Therefore I agree with the OP. You obviously disagree and that's fine, but there was no need for anyone to ridicule the OP for his post.

Shut up with your conspiracy theories will you. I've got one account and always have done, I don't need anyone else's help to tell someone what I think if I think they're talking nonsense, I don't gang up on anyone, what you think this is? A school yard?
I responded to your post as you were clearly having a pop at everyone that didn't agree with Troobloos dislike of Whitts. It's not just today's decision(which I thought was correct by the way) not to start Whitts and go more defensive. It's the constant Whitts bashing by you for one and troobloo, means that we're pointing fingers now.

Spot on Norms.
I also think it was a good decision tactically to rest Whitts for this game.
As it happens it seems to be the wrong one though as Richardson was pretty useless and didn't perform according to match reports.
