Not a rant at the sport.....I like both, but where's the crowd ????

The WRU's pricing structure is mental and now its starting to show

Theres about 60 odd thousand + there nate, not bad for a friendly.

They had enough room to put a huge Welsh flag on some of the spare seats! Not that im not patriotic but how much money would those seats have fetched at a fair price?

Still biggest crowd at any match this weekend but ridiculous prices and live TV meant not a sell out.

52000 was sold and its very disappointing for the game of rugby as they would have sold out if the prices was lower

watched match in the pub yestrday-people who normally go up to cardiff for the game saying cheapest tickets they could get were £70 -thats steep by any standards & no concessions for kids for a friendly-contrast that to prices for serbia next sat £20-£30 & £5?? for kids. The wru is relying on past glories to sell tickets -who can afford to pay that sort of money to watch a game

WRU have it all wrong. When I moved to Scotland I saw an advert for Scotland V NZ and Scotland V SA £35. FOR BOTH!!!
Cheap seats but ridiculous cheap pricing. They have expensive seats don't get me wrong but they also offer a lot of £20/25 tickets as well as £40/45 and the highest being platinum at 75 quid.

I remember going to see Wales in the 6 nations and the cheapest tickets I could get were 75 quid!!!

More to this than meets they eye, as they had to close down the one end (a loss of around 15,000+ supporters, I believe) so the maximum attendance was around 60,000 (not too far off what was announced) :ayatollah:
