CAN CITY BEAT NEWCASTLE WITH THESE PLAYERS STARTING?
Friday 4th November 2016
Cardiff City suffered a knockback last week with a 1-0 defeat to Wigan Athletic, and Neil Warnock would have been disappointed after picking up some form of late.
A late Jordi Gomez goal pinned Neil Warnock to his first defeat since taking charge of the South Wales club at the start of October.
They face a Newcastle United side who are absolutely flying at the moment as they comfortably sit at the top of the league.
There’s no pressure on Cardiff other than their need for points.
They will travel up to the North East as underdogs but the Bluebirds have got good quality players that can hurt Newcastle if they have an off day.
Cardiff has also got the kind of squad that can be perfectly suited to this kind of game, sitting back and nicking a 1-0 win.
If the Bluebirds pack the midfield and press Newcastle’s star men, they could easily cause them problems.
It is expected to be a tight affair, but Cardiff certainly have the ability to pull off a major shock.
