FIFA open disciplinary action

FIFA have opened disciplinary action against R.O.I. over the logo on their shirts to commemorate the easter uprising

Not sure what the Easter rising is but been told it was part of a struggle to free the Republic of Ireland ?

Yes it was and strangely enough it happened around Easter time....

so whats wrong with them wearing something to commemorate their freedom ? im confused

Political, probably in the sense that the 'Irish Question' is still a live issue.

Why on earth would they want that on their shirts while playing a football match?
