The moment a Cardiff City fan gatecrashed the biggest Champions League match of the season with a cheeky Ayatollah

This is the moment one young Cardiff City fan gatecrashed the biggest Champions League match of the season.

Oliver Perry showed his support for the Bluebirds by doing the 'Ayatollah' while he was a mascot for the match between Manchester City and Barcelona last night.

The nine-year-old from Risca won a MasterCard competition to be a mascot for the match. Oliver got to accompany City player Kevin De Bruyne out onto the pitch and stand with him before the match.

As the camera pans along the star studded line ups of both clubs for the obligatory playing of the Champions League theme song, Oliver can be seen cheekily looking at the camera before performing his salute in honour of the Bluebirds.

His mum, Jikke Neuvel-Perry, said: "Being a big Cardiff City fan he was challenged to do the ayatollah to show support for the club.

"As you can see he took on the challenge and did it."
