A forum for all things Cardiff City

My jack mate just sent me this from the planet swans forum...no smoke without fire
.....ex shareholders to rescind the original deal - on the basis they have been sold a 'pup'. They want their money back. All speculation and rumour but people can understand where this has all come from. I don't know whether this means they will apply to abrogate the acquisition of their shares from multimillionaires Jenkins, Dineen and Morgan etc.
Going to be some difficult conversations ahead when Jenkins meets the Yanks when over for Man U game.
Probably mean Jenkins et al and the Yanks will now have to all their lawyers present - when meeting each other.
Think of a scenario where ex shareholders have to give all their money back to Yanks, relegation and reputations (their family name) tarnished for the rest of their lives. Maybe they will reflect and think were the extra millions worth it?

We average about 14k in the championship . When we are not doing well.
Swansea WHEN they get relegated , will be lucky to get 10-12 k in the championship. The board could see the writing on the wall, they have been trying to find buyers for years, they couldn't believe their luck when the naive yanks offered to buy them.
The glory hunters who wouldn't know where the vetch field was, will soon leave the sinking ship .
They will probably tumble through the leagues , like they did last time. I can't wait .
Why do you think they have not tried to buy the ground, would cost too much money and Huw and Morgans didn't want to lose any of their millions they have taken out of the club.
Once they are back in the fourth tier of English football , they are going to be in major debt AGAIN , no bucket collection this time.

A picture from their maiden season in the PL would probably be fairer. Lets not become all bu*lsh*t and bluster, its why we are where we are.

Your right, its an unfair comparison. Its alright to be a little smug though. The higher you are the further you fall and they did after all put Lord Jenkins the highest of all possible pedestals. Meanwhile our Vince just keeps us afloat out of his own pocket. If he hadn't messed with the rebrand he'd be judged favourably compared with some of the rogues who've run clubs in recent years.

Agree completely. If someone has a genuine point to score then feel free, but comparing away attendances from our first season in the PL to their 6th (on a Monday night and on Sky) is just barmy and desperate. Laugh at them for being sh*t by all means but why essentially make stuff up? It's what they have claimed we do for years, and examples like this show why.
Tan isnt all that bad at all, he would be great if it wasn't for the red mistake. The Jacks however are in for a torrid time with their Yanks by the looks of it and long may it continue.

It's a bad comparison for sure. Trips get boring like many of our in the championship, stoke in a Monday night? On Tv? Forget it...
