Newcastle star misses Cardiff match through suspension after 5th yellow

Newcastle United's 38 yellow cards (and 1 red), one star banned from Saturday's match against Cardiff.
A committed performance by Newcastle United saw the Magpies pick up all three points thanks to two goals from Aleksandar Mitrovic, whilst at the same United picked up four bookings for Isaac Hayden, Matt Ritchie, Karl Darlow and Mitrovic himself.
United having to spend large parts of the game defending desperately, some great challenges combined with a little time wasting by Karl Darlow which earnt him his booking.
Matt Ritchie laid on the opening goal with an excellent ball over the top for Mitrovic but also picked up what was his fifth booking of the season.
This means that the winger will now miss Saturday’s home game against Cardiff, with Christian Atsu set to deputise.
