' CARDIFF CITY NEED SHOOTING PRACTICE '

Cardiff City have for the last two years known they need a proven striker, really in my opinion two were needed.
In many ways it has been very costly to the club,as perhaps if they had, had one last season they might have of made the play-offs, in fact I believe they would of.

Bringing in unproven cheap foreign players has in the long run been very costly and one by one they have gone.
But yes we've spent big money on the likes of Adam Le Fondre/Macheda and they've proven costly, who's decision?

We now have a proven Championship manager in Neil Warnock,so nows the time to back him with a proven striker in January.

Rickie Lambert is now here, but his track record shows he's injury prone, hopefully he can do a temporary job when fit again, but I believe we desperately need another striker. :thumbright: :thumbright:

Cardiff City had 19 shots yesterday against Wigan Athletic 15 of which failed to hit the target.

Shooting practice needed is needed

no cardiff city need to play a striker or two and stop playing useless second rate 'pretend' stirkers because they have scored a few goals previously.

Pilkington was crap yesterday, he wasn't molested as Warnock put it, he was just a player out of position who didn't have a clue.

Wigan did a job, a damn fine one, but we made it easy for them by playing one up front, and that one not even a striker!

Correct and none of this is Warnocks fault, its the so called committee's decisions over the last couple of years.
Thankfully they've now appointed Neil Warnock, back him and leave him to his own decisions :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I think he's has to take some blame Annis. His substitutions yesterday were not good. Why put Chamakh on the bench when he doesn't play him? The last 20 mins we were crying out for someone like him to come on and have a go. If last week proved Pilks wasn't a striker then yesterday ought to have.

Norms, I am honestly mystified by it and am hoping he had his reasons.

Liverpool paid 8m for him from burnley less than a year ago. We got no hope. I think our best bet is a loan from the prem unless Warnock can pull another free/cheap deal out of the bag.

I don't think chamak is the answer but I could be wrong. He's obv well off the mark or he'd be starting.

Tbf Pilkington had a battering yesterday but the ball kept being lumped up to him. And he battled hard against 2 tall cb's who both towered over him.
I agree he's not a striker but he does work. Also a bit confused with the Chamack situation yesterday. We could see we were never going to have the Lambert hold up play. So maybe Fred would of been a option I know he's been poor but he does win headers and could have Noone and Hoillett running of him
