Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey overtakes Manchester United FC star Paul Pogba for assists after only TWO minutes!
29/10/16
Aaron Ramsey made his long-awaited return to action for Arsenal this afternoon after two and a half months on the sidelines.
Ramsey has not played for club or country since being forced off the pitch with a hamstring injury as Arsene Wenger's men lost 4-3 to Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on the opening day of the Premier League campaign.
But the Wales midfielder replaced team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the 77th minute of his side's 4-1 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light today.
It didn't take him long to have an impact as he set up Alexis Sanchez to score the Gunners' fourth goal only two minutes after coming on.
It means he has already overtaken Manchester United's world record signing Paul Pogba for number of assists this season - with the £89m man yet to set up any of his team-mates for a goal in his eight Premier League appearances this season.
