Aron Gunnarsson for the fourth match in a row under new manager Neil Warnock has stood out,with his tackling,running,passion,talking and controlling of the game.

Cardiff City must extend his contract ASAP.

For me,City should not sell him in January, they had offers not long ago,but wanted £2mill.

Many on here wanted Gunnarsson sold, I've always believed in the Captain of Iceland and believe he should be Cardiff City's Captain.

Gunnarsson is a Warnock type of player, Paul Trollope and Russell Slade did not know how to get the best out of him.

I was one of the people that said sell him, totally changed my mind in the few games under Warnock though, like a new player.

He has been at the club a while and better than morrison who is too quiet as a captain. Bamba is leading the defence

Nick, Gunnarsson is like a new player under Warnock, Gunnarsson always had it,just Slade/Trollope were the wrong managers.

Gunnar told Ben Amos to go up for the last minute free kick. Could see him telling players where to go all game. Agree he should be captain.

Gunnar has been great under Warnock but Bamba for me should be captain.

Not sure that Morrison should even be in the team to be honest.

Agree Gunnar has been very good under Warnock and long may it continue,what I don't understand is why he he was so shite before.
And before someone pipes up about Slade/Trollope didn't or wouldn't pick him in the right position etc,Gunnar couldn't trap a ball,pass a Ball and general play was piss poor.Either he had a massive dip in form or he didn't give a toss!

Yep, I was one of those doubters and so far he's proving me wrong. Up to recently he's never strung more than two good performances together but he's now done four in a row.

If he carries on like this he certainly should be captain, although I think Bamba is currently the best bet.
