Chelsea have warned their fans they will ban anyone who is caught causing trouble at tonight’s game.
This is the first time the rivals have faced each other at the London Stadium, and there are concerns over crowd violence.
There have already been a number of ugly incidents involving West Ham and opposition supporters in and outside the venue this season. But the visit of Chelsea, who have sold out their allocation of 5,182 tickets, has put both clubs on greater alert.
In a statement last night Chelsea said: “Even if arrests are not made on the night, the police will work with the clubs to identify and arrest individuals. Chelsea will ban any of our supporters shown to be involved.”
CHELSEA CALL ON WEST HAM AND POLICE TO 'DELIVER A SAFE EVENT'
On Monday, West Ham issued a statement in which they said any troublemakers would be “identified and dealt with accordingly”.
Security has been stepped up. Hundreds of police officers will be on duty, with mounted police, dogs and a helicopter also available. There will also be 1,000 stewards. There will be no mobile bars selling alcohol outside the ground and pubs in the area have been advised to close between 6-8pm.

This is what our club should do if they make a decision to switch the family stand with the Canton. Any f*cking about and your banned, that way every one knows where they stand and we get the Grange end back and improve the atmosphere.

They are trying everything at the moment, do you believe we could get our grange end back? Would be one of the best decisions club has made. We live in hope. I agree, but I don't think you would get trouble. Not worth it.
