My View/Opinion

CITY TEAM : Amos, Connolly, Bamba, Bennett, Whittingham, Ralls, Gunnarsson, Hoilett, Lambert, Pilkington.

SUBS : Wilson, Richardson, O'Keefe, Harris, Immers, Noone, Chamakh.

CARDIFF CITY WANTED IT AND PLAYED AS A TEAM, WE EVEN BOSSED THE GAME AND THE SCORE LINE FLATTERED FOREST.

I Won't go in to a big match report, just straight to the point NEIL WARNOCK is the type of manager City have been begging for and we've finally got the manager we have all dreamed of so City fans please return and support the club you love


WARNOCK believed in Gunarrson as I did and it's two wins and one draw BLUEBIRDS

Great performance we were comfortable the whole game until the penalty but well done to Neil and the boys.

Really soft pen. Could of been really comfortable but 3 points is the main. Wigan Saturday we need another 3 as we have some tough fixtures coming up

Fair play to Gunnerson for admitting his mistake in for the penalty but if we had a goal scored we would have been 4 nil up at that point we so need a goal scorer as Lambert is to old now love him he gets injured everytime he goes for anything we need a striker in January

I just hope Tan now realises the difference between Warnock and the cheapo clowns we had before.
You wonder if Slade and Trollope look at themselves to to understand their own limitations after the turn around too (even allowing for the fact we have a few new players)
Maybe even realises the prose strings in January if Fair Play allow it.
We still need more firepower.

Most exciting football since the Dave Jones era. Lets hope we get a Malky style result in the next couple of seasons!

Great performance by Cardiff tonight, Mr Warnock has got us organised and well drilled. Bamba is immense by the way, what the f**k Leeds were doing getting shot of him is anyone's guess. Morrison looks a different player next to him also. The only criticism I have is that we were wasteful in attack but overall, we look a different side.

This was a big win that we really needed to get us out of the bottom three. If we can get another win against Wigan and some other results go our way things are going to be looking a lot better, So glad we got NW makes you realize how bad Trollope was.

Gunnars back to where he should be ...but i just cant see no place for declan john ... not going to replace bennet and Richardson was a breath of fresh air when he came on ... john not up to it ?

In just over two weeks NW has reversed the rot and will eventually take us back to where we should have been. Some of the football won't be pretty while some will. This is not a tippy-tappy league, you grind the results out and get back to basics.

Nothing against PT and RM but an experienced City coach once said to me that there's a glut of 'modern' football coaches who have done their badges, analyse big data, done the soft skills and man management courses, talk the talk but essentially don't deliver. A bit like doing your driving test theory and then realising its just a guide when your actually out there. PT and RM had an elite at their disposal with Wales and naively tried the same template with a championship squad and it bit them (and us) on the arse.

If I was an aspiring coach coming into the game, NW would be one of the top of my reading list. Beautiful Game. Shit Business. Basics. Stick your moneyball up yer arse. Good 3 points. We move on.

Loads of positives from tonight. Shame about Pilkingtons misses as I thought he was far better up top than out wide. We look a much bigger threat with him Noone and hoilett/Richardson as the 3. We have so much more pace with them so might not be the end of the world with Lamberts injury.

You can see Richardsons quality already. Excited to see him when he's fully fit.

Gunner, Whit's and Ralls gave everything for the cause and Bamba and Morrison's were at their no nonsense best. My only disappointment was Connolly who I thought looked miles off the pace and totally left his man which led to the penalty. Im sure Warnock will stick a rocket up his arse for Wigan.

Peltier is much more assured there. I can see him getting back in.

If Warnock needed convincing that Pilkington is not a striker then tonight proved it,great win though

Cardiff were awesome. Closing down tackling and workmate was fantastic. Dont let scoreline flatter scabs. Should have been 6-0. Neil warnocks barmy army. Proud to be a bluebird.
