Just watched BBC breakfast and was disgusted with the coverage, all it showed was a teacher in a local school still talking to the children after 9.15 and then showed council staff assembling outside council offices in the area. That lasted for about 15 seconds before going on to advertise a programme being shown tonight. I would have thought they would broadcast the full minute silence as they do the 2 minute silence for Rememberance Day. I'm not one to complain for nothing but I have complained to the BBC over the shoddy coverage. Did anyone else think it was poor?

What do you expect from a London based media?
We get no favours from England. Remember George Thomas of the then Labour Government took money from the Aberfan appeal fund to pay for moving the waste tips from the village. Just like making Liverpool Supporters to pay for the repair of Lepping's Lane after Hillsborough!
What will it take to make us angry?

I've also complained to the BBC telling them that the coverage should NO respect for the 144 victims and a total disregard for their families.

Wouldn't waste your time boys - all the good presenters were kicked out some time ago, either for being too old, too straight, or too white.

Heard an interview on BBC Radio this morning with the guy who was the first person to call 999 that day. He lived near the school. Incredibly eloquent and just the right tone
As posted else where, I have made a formal complaint to the Daily Mail and had two online posts removed from their site, neither of which had inappropriate comment.
Today is a day of reflection and sadness so I will keep the anger for tomorrow
