Pathetic following, Especially to Nottingham Forest where we have traditionally taken decent numbers.
People will moan about it being an awful following, by why won't more people be there? We took more to Rotherham for Christ sake.
I'll be there anyway.

That is the lowest we have taken to Forest for years.

Thought we would at least take close to 1k. Maybe everyone is saving for the villa and Newcastle games. I guess only time will tell as we hopefully move up the table and the fans slowly come back again.

Our away followings always contained a high % of lads ranging from 18-30, still at home bit of money to spare with a day on the piss at somewhere like Forest a serious appeal.
Thats the generation that seems to have knocked it on the head and who can blame them when the fun of it all has been all but evaporated by many different factors.

BRING BACK THE VALLEY RAMS !!! GREAT DAYS

I bet there won't be a spare seat at Villa or Newcastle in November though!

Both of which are not on TV. Football is an expensive hobby these days and it is only natural that supporters will cherry pick the best ones to attend.

Various reasons. But what's wrong with picking your away games?

I think all your reasons for poor support are valid, but for my own point of view there are a number of reasons I've gone from season ticket holder and away fan at least five games a season to not going at all. There are a number of reasons for this one being my work situation has altered were l only know have a window of only just over an hour to the point at which l finish work on a Saturday to kick off at three and travelling from Caerphilly would make this difficult but if l had the will to do as in other times then l would just at this time of life I've as Annis said moved on.As for away travel people must never underestimate the value of the Valley Rams,to be honest away trips for me were easier than home games l was picked up and dropped off at the bottom of my road and people like Chris Catterson who organised the away buses did a great job back then,l wonder does he even go know?

Fans, like Chris don't go as much, him like many others stopped after the Rebrand/Red brigade shite.
I can totally see where your coming from.

Probably because we've played at Villa Park only once in the last 40 years, so a new ground for many. How many times have we played forest in recent years? I've been to forest 3 times including for the last 2 seasons running but the only time I've been to Villa I was in the home end and I've never been to Newcastle.
So with those 2 away games (which includes a weekend in Newcastle) and the Wales game coming up. I'm more than happy to save ~£70 by skipping today and watching it in the pub.
All credit to everyone that goes today though, enjoy yourselves

I will always love the football club and l spend far to much time on this message board lol but as Sam once said the journey is sometimes better than finally arriving and thanks to Tan he even spoiled the promotion season which should have been the greatest in my time but it just wasn't and as for the premier league if that's the pot of gold fans are looking for well they can keep it
