We can have 3,000 tickets, every club has been virtually selling out, including teams like little Brentford.

Be interesting what we take?

I'd say at the moment we'd take 1000ish but if we can 4pts from our next 2 games (which is do-able) I reckon that would boost it up. I suppose it's also a new ground for quite a few people (myself included) as last time we played there was when we got relegated from the Premier League and it's been a few years since we've been in the same league :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
Imo 1800-2000 would be a good turnout

I reckon about 1,000 as the club has lost a lot of diehard City fans, hopefully they will start to return :ayatollah:

Most clubs have been taking 2,500 minimum, even the small clubs.

In 2010 we took 3,500 on a Friday night :bluebird: :bluebird:

I live there and the usual away allocation is 3,200

I've bought my ticket today.

I'm not convinced we will take as many as some others, Norwich took 500 or so i think.

We have played there a few times recently, I think we will take 1000-1800

Adam,Was that on a Saturday by Norwich?because most teams have taken 2,500 plus.

We should take 2,000.

Personally I reckon 700 max.

Norwich was midweek Annis as you suggest

Brentford took 2,800 I think. I was there and it was a good turnout

Cheers, thats a Superb away support :thumbright:

City should be taking 2,000 fans.

I've always been one for stats on fans from every club and most Championship clubs take over 2,500 to Newcastle. :ayatollah:

I know Norwich took about 3,500 to Fulham and usually on Saturday on long journeys they take from 1,000-1,500 fans.

Adam, that was our average away support last season when we ended up 8th position in the Championship table and we were 22nd out of 24 team on average away support.

Hopefully now we have a manager fans can finally believe in,many City fans will now return this season :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Away fans at Newcastle are in the same area as when we last when there in the Prem (up in the far north east corner of the ground). It is what locals call "level 7). Definitely 3,200 for league games

I have lived there for 27 years so happy to advise on pubs, travel, hotels etc. Just on that last point - several excellent hotels for all budgets have opened in Newcastle since our last match there so don't just book wherever you went last time

We will take more to Villa. Most people I know are saving for Villa and skipping Newcastle. Two big aways in the same month means our fans will pick and choose.

If you go to Sam Jacks before the game http://samjacks.com/ you can have a good pre match laugh.

They have DJ Nigel White who is Top Banana for entertainment. They also have topless barmaids, and welcome away fans to join in the banter. It really is worth a look :bluescarf:

Do not forget to take additional oxygen lol. Last time I went to Newcastle we lost 5-1 but I am sure 4 of their goals were offside.

Villa will sell out, Newcastle expensive trip and been done by most unless your a Brentford fan up until a few weeks ago!! To them they have waited forever for a Newcastle away. Novelty

Gareth, its not just Brentford, every club on Saturdays take 2,000 -2,500 away fans.

Talking about Brentford they are a very small club and use to only bring 50 fans to Cardiff years ago.
