HOW BAD WAS IT UNDER PAUL TROLLOPE????

Now put aside how such a nice person he was i'm talking just from a football point of view, the transformation under Warnock after just two weeks is obvious for all to see, motivation, fight, tactics, team togetherness and never say die attitude of the players are all what we expected from a Warnock team (we hav'nt been disappointed) but to see that the squad is not fit enough (probably the reason we conceded so many late goals under trollope) after a pre-season is for me unfogivable.

I've no doubt Warnock will address this over the coming weeks and get us to a mid table finish come the end of the season then next season could be very interesting.

Bad.
It was very bad and even though we finished higher up the table under Slade the football was some of the most boring I've ever seen City play. Mind numbing at times.

It's like chalk and cheese.

No matter what anyone says it can't have helped that the vital pre-season was interrupted by Trollope's being away with Wales which may help to explain the fitness issues.

I'm still at a loss as to why the hierarchy at the club thought that someone who had not managed for 5 years, who had never managed at this level before and had been sacked by his last club whilst in the relegation zone of the division below us, could make a success of what we all know is a difficult job.

The difference in having an experienced, knowledgeable manager at Championship level is clear to see even after just a couple of games.

It was as bad as when OGS was here. Both nice blokes, but way out of their depth.

Not just relegation but we would have been bottom, worst I have seen city in all my years. Had Warnock been installed in the summer we would be top six right now. :bluescarf:

Based on what? Two games with "new manager effect "?
Trollope must have done something right, or else there would be no potential there. Warnock would have to start from scratch. All he done this far is put the system in straight lines. It's what's needed at the bottom, but then what? Nothing is written in stone, that's for sure.

These things are not always as black and white as they seem. Sure we can discuss it all day long but unless you were an expert stood on the sidelines and in the dressing room the whole time it is merely idle speculation. Could be many grey areas that you may not see.

Seems like he wasn't up to it though thats for sure.
