Tony Belles or david haye

I know this a football board but there are a few posters on here who love there boxing .im no expert on boxing but Belles beat david Hayes has haye bitten off more than he can chew by taunting bellows going on the last to fights I would think Bellews could win but why did bellewws get so wound up about haye saying he thought his mate would win the fight

A bit theatrical for me, but if it was at heavyweight I couldn't see anything but a Haye win.

Bellew is a cruiserweight and did overpower a pumped up Cleverly who was by far superior at lightheavy. Natural weight pays and although both roughly the same dimensions Haye has trained to put it on not take it off.

Never been convinced by Bellew, but that is the draw

Think Bellews had a pop at him. 1. Obviously wound up about Haye saying he would get beat and 2. Perfect opportunity to offer him out live on TV and start the publicity build up. Think both are big headed.

Haye would beat him within 4 rounds. Bellew is a windmiller who leaves himself open to counter punching.
Haye is very good on the counter attack and would be too powerful and too clever for a fighter who would let his emotions get the better of him . He would be destroyed by the jab.
It would have to be at a catchweight which again would suit haye more than bellew .
I cant see anything but a haye win.

Bellew is a big bully, he's alright when he's overpowering people but he got caught loads last night. I'm not Hayes biggest fan although he has mellowed over the years and I think he'll beat Bellew east with his speed and power.

Would have to be at heavyweight as can't see Haye burning down to cruiser any more and then Bellew gets knocked out early. Gets hit too often and haye I suspect will catch him early. Would be an interesting fight and even more interesting build up.

I think Haye will easily take care of the gobby scouser.

It's purely a money spinner. Bellew will need to face some decent opposition in his next few fights at cruiser. Usyk, Glowacki, Huck, Bredis and Lebedev would all be potential bouts for him. Problem is none of them are household names so won't generate much money, but would still be very hard fights which Bellew would most likely lose.

So why not drop all those fights, go for one massive pay day against a huge name in British boxing and call it a day. No massive pressure on him. he'll be expected to lose anyway. Plus Haye makes some big money as well so win win.

It was horrendous mate I thought, pathetic pantomime bollox. But sadly it will work. The casual fans will love all this and there'll be loads more to come in the build up and both will make millions out of it all. Bellew done the same with the Cleverly rematch. I don't like Bellew one bit, but he sure can sell a fight! He'll be laughing all day!

In the lead up to the fight, Bellew will mouth off as he always does. Haye will do his talking in the ring and knock the motormouth scouser out inside 5 rounds.
