ATTENDANCE FOR SHEF WED?

Sun Oct 16, 2016 11:14 am

Just curious about what the attendanc might be for this one. Obviously I'm not expecting anything like Friday nights match against Bristol as its was Warnocks first match, a chance to watch new players, the Derby, cheap tickets etc but would hope to get at least 15-16k for this one. I guess if we keep it up and keep playing like we did against Bristol who knows. I'm not expecting us to suddenly win every game and shoot up the table like a rocket but if we can start getting some more results such as 1 win and a draw per 3 matches On average I would think the crowd would soon increase and ESP if we do get into the top half but I'm not getting carried away. Again I go back to the fact the we were on course for relegation and if we survive that, that's the most Important thing. Secondly, if we can climb the table abit then that's fantastic...if we reach the top half then It's a dream! If we make the top 6 or beyond ...this would make Warnock one of the biggest legends in Cardiff's history! So going back to original question I'm Hoping for at least 15-16k crowd? What does everyone else think? :bluebird: :bluescarf:

About 13,000 in the ground but announced at about the 15,000 mark.

Going to be significantly lower due to all the reasons mentioned. Wouldn't surprise me if only 15000 actually turn up. A lot of people can't make the midweek games due to work e.t.c.

Call it crap all you wan't fella, I just answered the question in a realistic fashion.

If it gets announced at around the 15,000 mark that will be 1,000 up on the last mid-week home game, I also doubt Sheff Weds will bring as many as Derby did. That will be a small step in the right direction and something to build on.

I wan't the crowds back as much as the next fan as that stadium needs the 20,000 at least in there to create a good atmosphere but people are not going to suddenly start turning up on mass again just like that.

They did on Friday because it was a fiver, that's gone now, just like they will be I'm afraid.

15k would be a huge improvement on recent games at standard prices.

Id say 15-16,000 sounds about right.

it may just make 16k if lucky, as of this morning, Sheffield Wednesday had sold 912 tickets. which is outstanding for a midweek game down here
