Would we suffer the same as
Charlton ,Sunderland ,man Utd ,hull,Luton
Think about this
Charlton done nothing since curbishly left
Sunderland abysmal since allardyce left
Man Utd suffered when fergie retired
Hull looking desperate since Bruce left
Luton steadily down hill when Grady left
This above stats brings home to me that certain clubs need certain types of managers
There are many more examples where one manager has been the right fit and once he goes the club is in trouble
IMHO we at last have our mr right at the helm ,just the right fit for us ,shame it's probably his last club ,but I hope we keep him upstairs when he says he's had enough
The man ouses football I believe he never stops thinking or talking football ,there's not many around like him
And we are lucky to have him
So enjoy the ride guys it's going to be some season now

Wow.......One game, one win, we may never win again until christmas, highly unlikely but we are getting way ahead of ourselves (I have a dopey fiver @33/1 to be top 6 because of his appointment)

What is inevitable is he is 67 and will leave !!!! Probably at the end of next season, so we better have a plan ready.

Try not to worry about when Warnock may leave us as he's only just getting started. I know that it's difficult to predict how long he may stay and the outcome after this but let's just enjoy it whilst he's here. This is what many fans have been dreaming of for a long time is a manager like him (no disrespect meant to the other managers). I'd be happy if he stayed here for the rest of this season and the next one! It would be abit disappointing if he left next summer but no one knows what will happen ....just enjoy the moment as this is as good as it's been for 2-3 years!

I do agree with you, it follows on from a stringfellow post, it is the Cardiff way. We do want blood and guts because we are a championship club.

Malky got that, we (fans) were a good fit for his philosophy.

DJ teams were great to watch but fragile and our only connection with that era is Whitts who personifies the DJ era perfectly.

The club need to start looking for that fit now. It is a Malky / Warnock type.

I mentioned in a post when Warnock first arrived that it's now that we should be looking to the future. Get someone in now to work alongside him.
It's no good starting to look for a replacement when he leaves but I hope the club are aware of that.

Just think, for Warnock to leave us in the same scenario as those managers it would mean that he would have become one of the best managers this club has had.

It would therefore follow that he will have got us promoted or won us a cup.

I'm happy for him to go if that has happened in the meantime.

The ideal situation would be is sidekicks would take over in a couple of seasons, Blackwell and Jepson, as his ways of doing things would be carried on by them.

Warnock could become DoF and Blackwell who has managed Leeds and done reasonably well, also Jepson has managed previousely. Would become no. 1 and 2 .
This would hopefully retain some sort of continuity .

BUT he's only managed us for one game ,so talking about us imploding if he leaves , just shows what we think as fans of the "WARNOCK EFFECT" and what we have been missing since , Eddie May and Malky (for all his faults).
