Where did that come from?

No real injuries at all and two of their subs came on at the same time so I reckon it must have been for timewasting.

We did seem to be taking forever to get the ball back into play, particularly with the nonsense of wiping the ball with a bloody towel before another "long" throw gets comfortably dealt with by the Wurzel defenders!

The ref was constantly pointing to his watch as our players strolled over to pick up the ball for throw-ins and free-kicks.

Can't remember a game with so much added time that didn't have a lengthy delay for a serious injury during normal time.

At the time i was thinking where the f**k has he pulled this from? But in hindsight 6 subs=3mins 2 goals=1 minute plus the scrap on the halfway line and Bamba's head injury it all adds up

Problem is there's no consistency with it. I would stop the clock for every stoppage like they do in rugby and once time is up the ball must be dead before the whistle goes.
