Only 1 game into his job and you could see little traits of how he likes the game played, besisides guts ,thunder and passion , did you notice how every throw in was taken by gunnerson even when we had a throw in our own half it went long with either morrison taking italong with gunnerson , also noticed there was no tip tap football across the pitch and not getting anywhere.
I just think it will only get better and better results wise, I agree with some posts on here were they say it was ok but I honestly believe we could still go up this season and I also think warnock will get a new centre forward come january has he has already stated lambert cant play 3 games in a week.
good start indeed

I don't think he will allow any passengers and I believe he'll inject more and more pace in the team, especially in midfield where we are weakest. I think he will get the best out of key players like Gunnar, Ralls and Noone by constantly demanding more. At the same time he will bring in his own tried and trusted players who he can depend on to do a good job. I think he relishes this challenge and a record breaking 8th promotion must be a huge incentive for him.

Big difference lastnight we went forward instead of sidewards and all the way back to the goalie all the time. Much quicker tempo too.

I agree. I thought Junior Hoilett had a big impact as suddenly we had an outlet down the left-hand side which hasn't been the case when Ralls has played out there. Great also to see the option of Harris and Immers coming on later to sure things up and add new legs.
The tempo was definitely there and that is how this team has to play

Tactics were perfect, let them have possession in their own half, then take it off them as soon as they come into our half, they only had a few shots all game.
That Chelsea Striker didn't get a sniff !!!

The substitute timings were perfect. The game was starting to get too hectic for Whitts (it wasn't a night for classy touches) although i am not sure if any player could have caught up with the pace of the game at that stage as Immers and Pilks proved.
Doubt we'll see pilks as the lone striker again though

I just can't believe we have Neil Warnock as our manager.
The majority of the side 8 out of the 11 have been with us all season . But what a difference, looked a completely different side, both in attitude and playing style.
If he (Warnock) with Jepson and Blackwell can make that difference in a couple of days, imagine once they have settled in and all the players understand the style and tactics, also getting their fitness levels up.
I can only see positives , early days I know, really looking forward to Wednesday and Wednesday now .

Mind you, in fairness, there were a lot of classy touches from Tomlin even though he's carrying a few pounds. Would have been a great signing for us.

It was direct no nonsense football which is what you expect from Warnock just like Malky's football and it gets you results I feel those times are coming back under Warnock.

I know its been said recently on here but what if he had joined us at the start of the season and had a good Pre-season it makes your mind boggle but never mind in my opinion we have the best championship manager by a country mile
