" THERE IS NO REASON WHY CARDIFF SHOULD NOT GET "

There is No reason why Cardiff City should not get a crowd of 25,000 this Friday night against Local Rivals Bristol City.

Bristol City will be bringing over 2,000 fans and Cardiff City fans have been able to buy tickets for as little as " £5 for Adults " :thumbright: :bluebird:

With a new manager as big as name Neil Warnock in place and a renewed optimism about the club, Cardiff City can be hopeful of pulling in their largest crowd of the season for the Severnside derby on Friday night.

Cardiff City themselves are expecting a crowd of around 24,000 going by ticket sales so far and you can pay on the night :thumbright:

Cardiff have 11,500 season ticket holders.

When Cardiff gave the tickets away last season, they got a crowd of 27,810, so No reasons not to turn up again :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Plus three big signings in one week :thumbright: :thumbright:
Marouane Chamakh
Sol Bamba
Junior Hoilett

Attendances haven't been great at Cardiff City Stadium of late as Paul Trollope's Bluebirds started the season with just one win from their five home matches.

The average gate at CCS last season was 16,463, while the first five matches this season have seen an average attendance of 15,096 with just 14,131 watching Cardiff lose 2-0 to Derby.

The biggest crowd so far this season was the 16,608 that watched Cardiff slump to a 2-0 defeat to Leeds United. This crowd was boosted by a large travelling support that could be replicated this Friday night.

Despite the lower attendances so far this season, a number of factors could conspire at the weekend to see a bumper crowd at CCS.

I agree but I would expect in or around 20,000 to be more realistic with it being on sky, like it or not some fans will take this option feet up and no money. Not for me, but reality. Having said that if warnock can get them playing and getting results I have no doubt momentum will gather.

The match is on Sky and rain is also predicted for Friday night, so a crowd of 20,000 would be very good. :bluescarf:

A win Friday with a big crowd will bring them back the next game so let's hope we get 3 points and go on a run

I agree, I think estimates of 24,000 are a bit too optimistic, be delighted to be proved wrong!

Hey a bit of rain and bang The crowd is less, would not be if it was Manchester United etc in Cardiff.

Anyone who's watched the games so far this season might take a fair bit of persuading to attend.hopefully we've turned a corner.

Its going to take a little while yet imo.

The only thing that will bring the crowds back is a string of positive results.

Be back down to 14,000 next wednesday with normal prices, lower if we lose.
