Who will lose out?

I'm assuming that with the 3 new players in the squad it means we have to move 3 out of the squad?

I reckon Pilks will be put back on the wings with Hoilett, Lambert up top with Chamakh off him. Centre with Whitts and O'Keefe would be my choice. Back four is a tricky one as we have a number of options with good players on their day, although they've been poor so far. Bennett and Peltier as the full backs I expect also.

Noone, Declan, Richards and either Morrison or Connolly (in the shorter term) and Manga will go in Jan or in the summer.

Of the three new signings Chamakh is almost certainly the least match fit as he has not played competitively since being released by C Palace. Hoilett played for Canada as recently as last week and Bamba only left Leeds a few weeks ago having been a starter for them at the beginning of the season.

I don`t expect Chamahk to start on Friday because of that fitness issue but think that Bamba and Hoilett will in place of the suspended Connely and Noone respectively.

Maybe a starting X1 as follows?

Amos

Peltier
Bamba
Morrison
Bennett

Hoilett
O`Keefe
Whitingham
Gunnarson
Pilkington

Lambert

The central midfield of Gunnarson and Whittingham worries me a bit as it has been tried and failed before but maybe the extra body of O`Keefe who has a lot more energy will help. Besides , none of the other midfield options have been playing well. An alternative might be to move Pilkington inside instead of Gunnarson and put Harries on the wing , giving two speedy wide players to support Lambert.
