Back four is a tricky one as we have a number of options with good players on their day, although they've been poor so far. Bennett and Peltier as the full backs I expect also.
Of the three new signings Chamakh is almost certainly the least match fit as he has not played competitively since being released by C Palace. Hoilett played for Canada as recently as last week and Bamba only left Leeds a few weeks ago having been a starter for them at the beginning of the season.
I don`t expect Chamahk to start on Friday because of that fitness issue but think that Bamba and Hoilett will in place of the suspended Connely and Noone respectively.
Maybe a starting X1 as follows?
Amos
Peltier
Bamba
Morrison
Bennett
Hoilett
O`Keefe
Whitingham
Gunnarson
Pilkington
Lambert
The central midfield of Gunnarson and Whittingham worries me a bit as it has been tried and failed before but maybe the extra body of O`Keefe who has a lot more energy will help. Besides , none of the other midfield options have been playing well. An alternative might be to move Pilkington inside instead of Gunnarson and put Harries on the wing , giving two speedy wide players to support Lambert.
