Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has confirmed the club have been in talks with FOUR players since he took over, with Kieran Richardson the latest name linked with a move to South Wales.

Kieran Edward Richardson (born 21 October 1984) is an English professional footballer who who plays as a winger, but has proven to be versatile, having also played as a left-back and a central midfielder.

Richardson began his career as a trainee at West Ham United, going on to have extended spells at Manchester United, Sunderland, Fulham and Aston Villa. He has been capped eight times for England, scoring twice.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has confirmed the club have been in talks with FOUR players since he took over, with Kieran Richardson the latest name linked with a move to South Wales.

We aren't in a position to be picky with our current situation and the transfer window shut, these are the type of players that are available as free agents. I agree a few are getting on but in Warnock we trust, the team needs characters and leaders and it's clear that warnock is replacing spine of the team. I have no doubt some who are in the comfort zone will respond to warnock and new players arriving. The prospect of hoilet and Harris with chalk on the boots excites me. Richardson can play midfield.

Richardson is OK but not all that. I think his experience will help the club for sure.

I know we needed a replacement for Fabio but the club's gone the extra mile getting his doppelgänger

I'm sure he is some relation to Rio Ferdinand, anyway I remember his cousin on Big Brother, a right loud mouthed bint. Good experienced utility player at this level I'm hoping.

“I think everybody knows I’ve had Kieran down this week, there’s nothing concrete about that.
