' Should Cardiff have Sold him by now? '

CRAIG NOONE

By Football League

Sunday 9th October 2016

The mysterious downslide in form of club clown Craig Noone is one that troubles even the most intellectual football purist.

Noone built a glowing reputation with previous clubs Plymouth Argyle and Brighton before being signed by Cardiff back in 2012.

He played a key role in helping the Bluebirds to win promotion the following season, and was a big hit with the Cardiff fans for his creativity and pace out wide as he consistently looked to get to the by-line.

An attribute in a winger that Cardiff fans had not seen since the genius that was Julian Gray, and even he was just a one month loan signing with the club back in 2003.

Noone has repeatedly failed to recapture the form that saw him thrust into the limelight during Cardiff’s solitary Premier League season, where he was praised for tearing the Manchester City defence apart on more than the odd occasion.

It seems his hunger and desire to succeed disappeared along with City’s membership in the top-flight, and it is amazing that a player who has been off-form for so long remains with the club.

I can't see Warnock playing him, and maybe he will go next window ....

Who will buy him on this form?
If Warnock cant get the best out of him, then sell him.

he looks unmotivated to me. i would sell him. he has obviously had to work incredibly hard to make it as a professional, but earning millions has seems to have taken some of his hunger to succeed away.

that said, depending on the formation, warnock may find a place for him whether it is as an impact sub or wherever. maybe he will respond to warnock's management. lets see how it plays out.

Another who has had his best days IMO.

he has lost so much of his main asset (pace).

He is so easy to defend against as every defender knows what he will do.

He scored at least 3 worldies last season and has not looked like replicating that this season.

How many games did he start in the promotion year. I don't really remember him

He was inconsistent that year, had some good runs of form but not alot of end product.

He hasn't played well for ages. Needs to go as soon as possible along with a fair few more
