Yes Warnock's good, but he will only have had a week, and some players are away, on paper we were due to get smashed before Warnock.
It Stikers me some people are now expecting the playoffs ???
Yes he's good, but we were utter shit, surely it's going to take more than a week ???

I appreciate the expectation level may have risen, but, I would happily take a point, a loss is probably on the cards from where we were. However first game syndrome is a huge possibility and the carrot crunching tractor drivers will not have it all their own way as they would have hoped pre warnock.
I genuinely believe most fans will stick with warnock until he has had a crack at a transfer window etc. So for me the result next Friday is not important. It's performance that will count and with this being game number 1, well he is top class manager not the lord Jesus Christ just yet.

Be patient.

The performance and attitude of players on Friday night will be far more important than the result...

Agreed, our fans seem realistic, but optimistic long term and all behind the Manager and the team

Being our biggest most bitter rivals I would hate this

A group of players languishing at the foot of the table are not going to become world beaters overnight. Patience is something we are going to need for the rest of the season. These derby games seem to have a habit of ending up in draws, and I can see this one being 1-1 or 2-2. I think a point would be a decent result against this Bristol side.

I would get straight on here and do a post and a poll "Warnock not the messiah he made out he was"
Poll-Should he now go after that Bristol S&ity shocker?

There would be no getting away from feeling disappointed but at the end of day we were probably heading for a canning from them before last week anyway! For me the most important thing is firstly to stay up and not get relegated as we were headed for that as well! Secondly I'd like us to get a safety cushion between us and the bottom 3! And finally get up the table as far as possible....! I'd love us to win against Bristol City but it's not the end of he world if we lose!

It depends on the manor of the defeat, if they role over and just like Bristol give them the big dick them im angry. If they are trying new stuff and making an effort im gutted, but at least I seen the team try and things changing for the better.

Prior to Warnock's appointment I would have expected Bristol to put 3/4 past us anyway because they are a decent team, playing attacking football and scoring plenty of goals. Anything less than that on the night would be a bonus.
The main thing is for our players to respond to the new manager and to show some passion. Play decent football by showing some intent going forward rather than backwards and sideways and to close Bristol down at every opportunity. The players need to step up.

Probably stamp my feet, tut tut a bit, then get over it.
