... everyone seems unanimously positive about a decision made by the club. I haven't seen a comment yet slating Warnock (though I'm sure one will follow this...). Obviously a great choice and will hopefully spark the club into life again after years of in-fighting and chaos throughout the malky / ole period, and boredom and pessimism of the slade/trollape era.
I haven't felt excited about going to the ground for a while now, but I'm already buzzing about the Bristol game and beyond. It's strange that we feel our most united whilst at our lowest ebb points wise.

its clearly the right decision for a number of reasons. after all, desperate times call for desperate measures. the funny thing is, it may turn out to be an inspired decision.
but then again, we shouldn't expect miracles. many people on here expect miracles from warnock. he's obviously come off the back of an excellent tenure with rotherham, but he didnt do well at leeds. that said, i think his man management will go a long way here. the players don't look motivated at the moment IMO.

Warnock is not a desperate measure ,he's the right man for the job in hand
Now gigs or Bellamy would have been a desperate appointment IMO

it most certainly is a sign of desperation, but as i stated very clearly, he is the right man for the job - the two aren't mutually exclusive. warnock is a short term choice and will be on a very large salary and bonus, indicating a departure from our previous philosophy which lasted 11 games. if everything was fine and dandy, the club would not be touching someone like warnock with a bargepole.
