How long is he due to stay?

Fri Oct 07, 2016 7:48 am

I know this was asked in the press conference and I've seen it asked in some posts but just how long has Warnock signed for or has he been signed on a monthly basis? I saw in the press conference that the question was skirted around and it's the only thing that's making me abit twitchy. Is it that they can't afford to sign him up for 2 years or something so they've bought him in as a quick fix for a few months or is it that are just going to see how he goes for example He Performs well = he stays? Just curious as to what the situation is as so far I haven't got a proper answer out of anyone. Is it something to do with the FFP? Perhaps the club have no choice but to do it on a play it by ear basis?

Remember when we signed up Malky, he didn't get us promoted until his second full season and that was with big financial backing too, so in order for the same thing to happen again you'd have to give Warnock a 2 year contract with good financial backing I think. I guess the main thing to start with us that he keeps us up as the way things were going, we are headed for league 1 until he arrived.

Like he said and something I have always agreed on is contracts are nothing but pay outs, when people post about players for us signing new contracts as a good thing is absolute nonsense.

If anything it is the complete opposite and gives me a sense a player is on the way out and the contract was in order to grab attention from buyers.. E.G Pilkington.
