CARDIFF have snapped up Ivory Coast international centre-back Sol Bamba after he was released by Leeds

Boss Garry Monk confirmed the 31-year-old was still the Elland Road side’s captain at the start of the season.

But on September 1 it was revealed that Bamba - whose previous clubs include Leicester - had been let go by Leeds having agreed to end his contract by mutual consent.

His departure was confirmed eight days later.

Now new Cardiff manager Neil Warnock was swooped for Bamba the day after his appointment.

I do hope he gives Bennett a good run out though. I've seen him live a few times he reminds me of Taylor for Wales.

Another good signing if true I wonder who's going to be the fall guy cause Manga Connolly and Morrison have all been pretty bad so far this season

I'm guessing Morrison is going to struggle to get in if this is true.

Not enough place if Bamba is going to play too. It's all about partnerships but I'd think Manga is the quickest so likely to get the nod.

Another great signing by us showing intent, he lost his way at Leeds, apparently he was disillusioned with the managers coming in and out so im sure Warnock will get him firing on all cylinders.

That for me is a top championship quartet.

Morrison has been our best centre back this season. Manga and Connolly have both been dire. They are both fine players, but have completely lost form.

I'm a big fan of Manga and would play him but it's all about partnerships and who plays well together and suit each other.

I wouldn't even beleive the date on The Star or The Sun.
