Genuinely excited by Warnock's appointment!
As a rule, I don't like unfounded posts about players that don't play for us, however, this one just hit me.
With the rumours going around that Sol Bamba and Marouane Chamakh are set to join Junior Hoilett as new signings very soon, does anyone think that Kevin Nolan would be worth a shout?
He was released by Leyton Orient back in July, and he's 34, but Bamba is 31 and Chamakh is 32, and I think maybe he could do a job. Be like Hasselbaink and Sinclair were in 07/08. Join us for just the year on a pay-as-you-play, he'd bring in premiership experience, he's a bit tough, and I just think he might suit Warnock. The only stumbling blocks would be his wages, or whether he'd even want to come here.
As a free agent, we could sign him whenever, and he was playing as recently as 3 months ago. Maybe he could make an impact? I don't really see him as any worse than anyone we have?
