Cardiff City have reportedly signed Junior Hoilett on a free transfer.

New manager Neil Warnock today revealed he was targeting one or two signings right now, and winger Hoilett fits the bill perfectly.

Hoilett played under Warnock at QPR and the Sun report the deal is done.

CARDIFF CITY have signed free agent Junior Hoilett to boost their struggling squad.

New Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock has been in the Cardiff City hot seat for less than 48 hours.

And he has wasted no time after replacing Paul Trollope looks to escape from the Championship drop zone.

Hoilett, still only 26 joined Queens Park Rangers in 2012 from Blackburn for an undisclosed fee.

However the winger’s time in West London was hampered by injuries.

Good signing for free, got skill and pace maybe him and Harris on the either wings to inject some well needed pace

not gna say much but we have been calling for this guy to join city for a while and now we have warnock anything seems possible

Great signing pace just what we needs Warnock working his magic already.

If the manager can get Hoilett to play again then what's stopping him getting Noone to play again? We know he has the skill and work rate so I'm willing to give him a chance instead of wanting him automatically shipped out.

i agree there - maybe abit of competition will inspire the slackers to pull up their socks - strong squad then.

Yes he's been shite most games but to be fair he always puts a shift in in when I've seen him play. Up and down the wing constantly helping out the defence.
Also I think we're fine for midfielders and can't see anymore players coming in besides the three mentioned.

Noones no slacker but I honestly don't think he's much good outside the last 20 mins of a game any more. But we'll see we've made alot of decent players look bad in recent years.

Starting for Canada tonight so should be fit.

He has lost form ever since he left Blackburn. We live in hope that he comes better here.

Although I was disappointed I'm a big believer in fate and when this (job) cropped up I only had one phone call from (chairman) Mehmet (Dalman) and he told me that I was the club's number one target. I liked to feel wanted.

"I've always liked it here. I've always had good banter with the Cardiff people. They're my type of crowd - blood and guts and all that, which I like - and I know that if I can get it right for them, they'll get behind me."
