When we saw Neil Warnock....

I remember a few years back - when QPR played Cardiff city. We saw him in the car park by his car (he'd driven to the match). There were a few fans around him mainly QPR but we also went upto him. I remember one of the QPR fans saying "nice car" to him but he was quite humble and down to earth. He also made a few funny comments and I thought he seems like a cracking bloke and manager. We didn't say anything to him from memory but almost just stood there (like a weirdo lol) and watched him as he interacted with the fans. From memory his car was a small sports car like a soft top or something but may have got that wrong! From that day on though we always liked him even though he made other teams play well and got success. We always wanted him at Cardiff city from that day on! :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Same. Had a beer with the guy at The Open this year. Very humble and funny.

My mates are taking the piss that I persuaded him to come. I tried my best! Haha

About 9/10 years ago City were playing C/Palace at home in midweek, and it had bucketed it down for days.Palace were staying at the Vale and all training pitching in he surrounding area were deemed unplayable.A local lady to our village worked at the vale and sorted them to train on the morning of the game on community pitch.
A bit of light running and excercise, nothing to much and no formations or team selections(lol).
The local primary school sent the kids over to watch and Warnock quipped it was the most scenic training ground they have been to!
