Yes I know Malky did some silly things in regards to the texts and comments which was unacceptable but putting that aside there was always a chance he'd keep us up the prem but as everyone knows that rapidly changed and so did that positive feeling thought by many fans! Now no disrespect to any manager we have had since and I think Slade did well under the circumstances but we now have a big chance to avoid relegation and hopefully go up a few places - I'm not expecting suddenly to go from bottom 2 to the top half but I think with Warnock we've got hope. Of course nothing is guaranteed with even the best managers but for me, I really believe in most of the players abilities and sounds a cliche but we should not be where we are in the league. For once in about 3 years, I feel positive and happy that we can now put our trust in Warnock. I really want him to succeed to (ESP as this could be his last managerial post). I want him to become a hero at Cardiff city and hope he stays with us for at least a year or 2. Like I said, I'm not expecting a top 6 finish or even to get into the top half but first and foremost relegation must be avoided and if we can climb up a few places say for example to 15-16th then if he achieves this then he will already become a hero in my eyes!
Perhaps if Warnock saw this post he may think that I'm underestimating him but no it's not that - I have great respect for him as a manager and believe he could Spring us up the table but I guess after a lot of 'difficult times' over the last few years, I do t want to get carried away! But Come on Warnock!
