All eyes turn to Neil Warnock who will be appointed Cardiff City manager today :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff may not have the best squad of players in the Championship, but they most certainly don't have the second worst, either.

Tan knew these players were punching way below their weight. Although he is heavily guided by chief executive Choo and chairman Mehmet Dalman, ultimately it was the club's Malaysian owner who sanctioned the wielding of the axe.

Just as it is Tan who will give the go-ahead for the new man, the most important thing for Cardiff City moving forward.

Who's going to work for Tan, we keep hearing as something of a cliche? Well, rest assured there are no end of managers who will jump at the opportunity of the Cardiff City job under him.

But for me, the club have to go one of two ways - young or old. It's no good thinking of a hybrid-ish type candidate such as Steve McClaren, Nigel Pearson, Tony Mowbray. The usual old suspects.

Cardiff either try to unearth the new Eddie Howe, possibly Craig Bellamy or Ryan Giggs. An individual who would re-energise the fans and the players.

Or they go for the been there, seen it, done it merchant.

Neil Warnock fits that Championship bill better than anybody. He got seemingly doomed Rotherham out of a relegation scrape last season. He would have infinitely superior players to work with at Cardiff City.

The Bluebirds won't be relegated. The swift action in dispensing with Trollope will ensure that.

2 yr contract I don't see it as a quick fix, stabilise this season and get promoted next? He would love that another big wave coming.

I really hope this happens and he gets the backroom staff that are being mentioned.

Here we have an experienced manager who simply WILL NOT accept a player downing tools, like Manga appeared to do the weekend, but equally he is the type of Manager who will re-ignite the fanbase which lets face it has become lethargic.

The question is which Free Agents will he be looking to bring in because I really don't think he will want to wait until January. This guy is a winner through and through.

That's a good shout if his wages can be sorted/reduced.
He was brilliant a few years ago with Spurs looking at him. Can't really see it happening though due to costs.

Well this is good news , well done Vincent Tan .
Really pleased with Warnock's appointment and his backroom staff, just too good to be true.
Debt gone in a few years ,back in blue. Hopefully Warnock can turn our season around, and maybe the so called fans may start turning up again. Instead of looking for any excuse to knock the club.
The negative vibes by some fans is really depressing .
Another new start let's get behind this one, lets be more positive you never know we might all be surprised and start enjoying it again.
Warnock is certainly the most experienced manager we have had since Dave Jones, and definitely the one with the best CV we've ever had .
