My take on the situation

My take on this whole mess that is Cardiff City FC

The way they’ve gone about this whole sorry state of affairs with Trollope is beyond words ;

Trollope is still in his role and we have Choo publicly criticising, basically flogging him out to the fans which I think is an absolutely disgusting piece of behaviour by all involved, the correct approach would have been to sack him yesterday, then speak to the press giving the reasons for his sacking.

I’m all for Trollope’s departure but the way they have gone about this is all wrong, you have to feel for Trollope because he’s been mugged off bigtime, his ideas and plans have not worked, that is evident, the players appear demotivated so maybe he’s lost the dressing room, but come on City, show the man some dignity and respect.

What right minded manager is going to want to come in and work under Tan & his oily cronies.

How do we know 100% that Trollope was not informed yesterday, but asked not to say anything? There are claimants to be in the know etc but does anyone actually know 100% Choo spoke to this fan prior to speaking to PT.

Either way he had to go rightly or wrongly done so, and I feel for him as he tried something different, but he stuck with out of form players and the table doesn't lie. An opportunity to get a decent manager in and actually restore a bit of faith, pride, excitement and hopefully atmosphere into match day.

On the face of it it does look a bit messy but the club can't really win on this one.

If Choo had said "We're backing the manager" or "no comment" and then sacked Trollope this morning he would have been criticised for either lying or not being transparent.

The likelihood is that Trollope was sacked sometime over the weekend or at least well in advance of today's announcement and any delay in the announcement was in agreeing a severance package.

For instance, does anyone really think that the Jacks sacked Guidolin and appointed Bradley within minutes of each other :roll: :? They've been widely commended for the way they've handled it but in reality they would have had to have been sorting out the successor before they'd even sacked his predecessor !!

Personally I'm just glad we did it nice and early in the International Break to give us some time to settle down.
