' SURELY IF/WHEN THEY SACK PAUL TROLLOPE THEN '

Surely if or rather when the club sack Trollope, they can not employ an inexperienced manager to takeover.

If it happens then they must go for experience at the very least and possibly someone who knows this division and what it takes to survive and succeed the demands of the Championship.

We need a manager who can motivate players and make them believe how good they are because whatever is happening right now we know that there is no belief in this squad, they look devoid of all confidence.

No doubt names like Giggs and Bellamy will be linked if Trollope gets the chop but I believe we can't take that risk of inexperience at this point in time but bring in a proven head at this level.

Wez, Tan nearly employed grumpy/arrogant Jones over a year ago but Dalman put him off.
DJ would come here now as he is more than desperate for a job,he even contacted Feeney when he was at County.

Tan still likes DJ an awful lot.

Ian Holloway would be ideal. Huge championship experience and not one to be soft on the players!

I think he would stabilise us and maybe learn from his past mistake his football was good under him

Jones has a good record in football and I think he would sort us out right now, would actually like him to come back, even if he is miserable most of the time.

Struggled with Wednesday, don't like him, but could just get us out of this hole, however it is Warnock for me :ayatollah:

I would go and pick DJ up right now, not because my preferred choice but a realistic one, even if short term. The clubs philosophy has to be avoid relegation and go from there. I still don't understand clubs who pay players silly money then employ cheap managers. Baffles me.

I agree why sign a player on 32k a week when this manager could be on 3 k ? just not right

Surely jones is exactly what we need, he signs free transfers and lower league player on the cheap and can mould them and sell them for big money

I must be the only one who wouldn't want Dave Jones back...

Yes, he's experienced; but his attitude was so negative and even though we got to Wembley for the FA Cup final, for me, he was the man who embodied City's apparent lack of ambition at the time - we became a selling club, made up of mainly loan players and could never get over the final hurdle. He blamed the fans for that, remember.

I would take Giggs or Bellers myself but they ain't in our price range of minimum wage and a Zero hours contract

Dave Jones destroyed young players like Adam Matthews by publicly humiliating them. Totally under-used Rambo. If we have to appoint someone experienced ,it must be Warnock.

Look what he did at rotherham last season ,they were odds on to go down before he took over.from what ive seen from him warnock seems to have a soft spot for us when on pundit duty...but would he work under tan thats the question.

You can't slate DJ in one piece for destroying youngsters, and then as for Warnock. He plays his mates, and doesn't play kids.
