If Swanse stay in Prem and Cardiff keep slidingg

OVER THE NEXT 10 YEARS

I can see CARDIFF FC getting smaller and SMALLER with Swansea hoovering up the younger fan base AND GROWING OFF THE SCALE.

It's already happening.

People in England think - Swansea - football city, Cardiff - Rugby city. Had many conversations with English folk about this.

They are already attracting the younger fan base in Cardiff Newport and the valleys. Young kids want to support a Welsh PL club, you can see that by the amount of Jack replica shirts wondering about South Wales on kids and mis guided adults :bluebird:

Their fan base won't get much bigger if they continue to be mid table every season.

That doesn't surprise me and it makes my blood boil, can't stand the egg and all the shit that comes with it, roid head morons who think their gods gift to women, fat old slappers parading around in cowboy hats match days and middle age cunts claiming they were once the pinnacle of their local rugby club, shittest sport in the world, don't associate with any egg cunts !!

Do you think that's because of all the rugby internationals being held here, rather than the respective club sides?

Strange how outsiders see us. I remember a Norweigian woman telling me that Cardiff was famous for the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World, and a French Canadian woman telling me that we were good at 'hockey'. Took me a while to work that one out, but she was talking about the Cardiff Devils.

They already have a Cat 1 academy which means they can pretty much run the rule over players anyway. it don't take 10 years for that. Tan was in the process of applying for it but that's fallen by the way side as you need all teams to be located at one Base, and as we are currently sacking/ making redundant academy staff don't see Cat 1 happening for us.

I can't say I agree with this from my experiences

That's exactly why. When there's an international on they always fall over themselves to say what a fantastic rugby city Cardiff is and they show thousands of fans dressed in red in the city centre. It promotes Cardiff to the rest of the UK as a hub for rugby.

On the other side the only time people here about Swansea is football, nothing happens there, it's never in the papers or on the news. Over time Swansea has become synonymous with football a bit like West Brom.
