Based on what evidence? He's coached this team into their worst start in over a decade and the players who performed fairly well under Slade, are playing terribly. Everyone says he's a great coach etc but his first 12 games at the club have been terrible. I think he'd find it very, very difficult to return to being a coach if a new manager came in. I wouldn't want the old guy hanging around either, if I was the new boss.
