TROLLOPE:WE HAVE THE BREAK,WE WILL IMPROVE/I HAVE BACKING

The strong Cardiff following were understandably and audibly frustrated, repeatedly singing for the manager to leave.

Trollope believes he has the backing,

"We have the international break,We will improve & I have the backing of the Hierachy"

Paul Trollope remains confident he will have the support of the Cardiff City hierarchy despite a 2-0 defeat to Burton Albion, and defended fans who sang 'sacked in the morning' following the Brewers second goal.

It was a galling afternoon for the Bluebirds boss as his side slipped to yet another meek defeat, with Jackson Irvine scoring a crisp early goal and Lucas Akins scoring from a set play straight after half-time.

The strong Cardiff following were understandably and audibly frustrated, repeatedly singing for the manager to leave.

Trollope said: “I can understand it, I thought the support was great today, we brought a lot of coaches up and the numbers they turned up in was fantastic given the position we're in.

"I can understand the frustration, I'm frustrated in myself and the position we're in, because it's not where we should be and it's not where we want to be.

“I completely understand the frustrations, they pay their money and they sing what they sing, but we're working hard, the international break affords us some time to hopefully improve.

“It's not a nice situation, of course, but it's football. I've been around the game all my life and I know what it is and what happens. It's not pleasant because we're working very hard. We've taken some injuries to key players which I believe has had a baring on results but that's what you have a decent squad for.

“You have to have broad enough shoulders to take it because whatever league you're in there's pressure. I can understand why they sing what they sing, I've taken a bit but that's football.”

Trollope remains confident that the Bluebirds hierarchy will keep faith in his faltering project, with a two week international break before the side return to action against Bristol City.

He said: “I certainly hope [I'll get time]. I've received great support so far, the results haven't been good enough, I hold my hand up there. It's certainly not we've worked so, so hard for or expected. With the emergency loan window not at our disposal any more the group is what it is.

“I believe the spirit is there in that group and it's the small details in both boxes that have cost us. Football's a rollercoaster, we're at the bottom of a dip now and we have to climb our way out of it.”

Trollope quote 'it's not the position we should be in' !!!

Bollocks yes it is! We don't score goals, we conceded goals for fun therefore we are where we should be in the league!

Also at this rate we deserve to go down.

An empty stadium would force the issue.

This may come sooner than Choo realises.

He has probably never experienced adversity in football or a football crowd turning against its own.

I'm surprised it has taken this long.

Riddler looked like the local cat burglar compared to this lot who are akin to great train robbers. In their football decision making.

"It's the small details in both boxes that have cost us"

He is having a laugh, no we cannot defend, no we cannot score but more than anything we do not create any chances. We are a sideways/backwards passing team whilst the little pace& creativity we do have sits on the bench!

Give him the the England job ! Five at the back and were leaking goals for fun the defence are lazy no midfield and definitely no strikers so where are we improving oh yes fans attendances creeping up !!!!! The Club is ruined top to bottom - and players have no desire on the pitch at all there body languages says it all !!!

I think your right, and I can see the next home game breaking another City record,,,an all time low for a Championship attendance.

Technically he may be the real deal, but his job is man (prima donna's) management and he is not demonstrating any skill in that department

It must be hard being the players mate 4 months ago, setting the drills, telling them they are great players having a laugh, then dragging them in your office and tearing a strip off them and drop them......Arggg that's the bit he isn't doing, all the old heads are almost undropable even though they are not doing the business. Going to be interesting when they are all fit
