when you got this much money, its all down to ego, you wanted to be blue so here it is, if we were red we would be more succesful, its his way of punishing us

Why would Tan want two relegation's on his CV? surely he cares about his reputation?
Sat Oct 01, 2016 9:23 pm
he doesnt need a cv,this for him is a personal battle

And lose much more money in the process I don't think so.

Everything he's done points to gross incompetence or revenge! If you wanted to destroy a club what he has done is textbook
Sat Oct 01, 2016 9:37 pm
he destroyed it .the day he turned it red.

And that is the point. Billionaires regard money as the ultimate measure of success, stubbornness doesn't come into it.

Yeah Tan is already losing enough money and going down again will make it worse and he would sacrifice that just for some "revenge" surely he's not that stupid.

What position was tan playing today?
Sun Oct 02, 2016 6:46 am
More opportunity to cut the cloth ,he does not care anymore, this is patently obvious.
If he did , he would attend a few games to appreciate the shit atmosphere being fed by the the shit being played.

Money doesn't come into it. Tan wants his revenge on what he sees as ungrateful fans

This thread is a little bit silly. Tan wants to be in the premier league, without a doubt.
He's to far in now, he doesn't want to lose money he wants to make money.
The only way he can sell us,for a next to nothing loss, would be if we were successful and debt free.
So revenge or whatever you call it, is something that has not crossed his mind.
He's made mistakes and Trollope is one,and he knows it . So his next decision is vital, nobody on the staff could improve us. So he needs to go outside the club and that is the problem, there is nobody with an ounce of sense when it comes to football on our board.
So he is stuck as they say between a rock and hard place.
I don't envy his next decision because this is going to define our season.

pathetic attempt there and typical of City fans with no balls.

It wasn't ruined after we were turned red. opinions were devided, plenty of arguments but crowds turned up. It was ruined when they sacked a good manager who got the best out of his side and replaced him with an inexperienced manager for the top flight, ever since has seen a downward spiral to the present date.
The colour change is over, the manager situation is still ongoing. Tan is a business man and losing millions will not be in his remit to spite some football fans. He just has to swallow his pride, admit he doesn't know football and get someone in that does. And that is why we are failing, his pride and not knowing his business.

Wasn't ruined? A club who's whole history a colour relates nickname wasn't ruined it was destroyed

It divided opinion without doubt, but it didn't ruin the club! It didn't destroy the club either. it caused a lot of heated discussion and debate but it hasn't ruined the club. Plus we got it back and sense prevailed, I wasn't pro red by any stretch, but the lack of investment in a decent manager after malky is ruining the club. This was the start of our decline. Like it loath it, on the pitch we did OK in red, until we sacked the manager, then it all started to collapse.
