Cardiff City boss Paul Trollope was mocked by his own supporters as his Bluebirds reign appeared to be on the brink of being finished following the latest miserable 2-0 defeat to Burton.
The travelling Cardiff fans left the under-fire boss in no doubt about their feelings, chanting "You're getting sacked in the morning" as the second goal hit the back of the net after 49 minutes.
There were also sarcastic cries of "Trollope for England" as the Bluebirds' season plumbed new depths at the Pirelli Stadium.
The goals from Jackson Irvine and Lucas Akins mean Cardiff are languishing in 23rd place in the Championship table, with the club's directors now facing a big decision during the international break.
It's understood there has been a desire to give Trollope a fair amount of time to put things right but with no sign of any improvement, and the fans seemingly turning against him, Trollope finds himself in major trouble.
Once again Trollope's team were toothless in attack and appalling in defence, making life far too easy for a Burton side who looked far more clinical.
Cardiff have now won just two of their 11 league games this season, losing seven and scoring just eight goals.
