One of the Wales worst Disasters ever, To this day there is so much Sadness in Aberfan.

The Aberfan disaster was a catastrophic collapse of a colliery spoil tip in the Welsh village of Aberfan, near Merthyr Tydfil, on 21 October 1966, which killed 116 children and 28 adults RIP.

Have some good friends who lost family there (Mark Williams being the closest) and my old man was one of the rescue team members. I was only 4 years old at the time and the after effects resonated throughout the world but never more so than in the proud community of Aberfan itself!

RIP everyone of the little children
